Jake's Place

What you truly go to Marsh’s to see is “Jake the Alligator Man” – a mummified half-man half-alligator. A cult figure in Northwestern culture, Jake has earned his own bumper sticker, has sold over 30,000 postcards and has been featured in the ever-amusing Weekly World News.

Great family, fun place to visit and get souvenirs while also seeing Jake, the alligator man. Lots to look at and something for everyone while learning some very interesting things. It's such a fun place. I recommend taking the whole family and spending 30 to 45 minutes learning and having fun.

There is sooooooo much to see here. I found a necklace with my name and that never happens!
I love looking around here, bring some change to try out the many many machines. Lots of souvenirs with hats and hoodies. I recommend coming here. You will be here a while :) because of the amount of stuff here. Rocks for rock collection, shells, toys, chimes, hoodies, necklaces, bracelet, corkscrew, toys and so so so much more.

Marsha's free museum is weirdly awesome! You really have to take your time so you can read about all the crazy stuff they have hanging on their walls and from their ceiling. All of the employees are super nice and informative about everything that's going on around the town and about the history the museum itself. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
