Haunted Residence Participation Agreement & Liability Release

By submitting this registration form, I certify that I am the owner of, or have the legal authority to register, the residence identified in this application.

I understand that participation in the Haunted Peninsula is voluntary and that Marsh's Free Museum, its owners, employees, volunteers, sponsors, affiliates, partners, and event organizers (collectively, the "Released Parties") are acting solely as promoters and coordinators of the event. Participation does not create any partnership, agency, joint venture, or other legal relationship between my household and the Released Parties.

I acknowledge and agree that I am solely responsible for:

• The safety and condition of my property.

• Any decorations, displays, lighting, electrical equipment, pathways, or attractions located on my property.

• The conduct of any volunteers, family members, or guests assisting with my display.

• Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, homeowners' association rules (if applicable), and insurance requirements.

• Any injuries, illnesses, property damage, theft, or other losses occurring on or relating to my property.

I understand that Marsh's Free Museum may advertise my residence as a participating location on its website, maps, social media, printed materials, or other promotional materials. I acknowledge that Marsh's Free Museum does not own, inspect, supervise, maintain, or control my property and makes no representations regarding its safety or suitability for visitors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Marsh's Free Museum and the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, expenses, or attorney's fees arising out of or relating to my participation in the Haunted Peninsula, including but not limited to claims involving personal injury, death, property damage, theft, visitor conduct, or claims brought by visitors, neighbors, volunteers, contractors, governmental entities, or any other third party.

I further understand that I am responsible for determining whether my homeowner's insurance provides coverage for participation in this event and that Marsh's Free Museum does not provide insurance coverage for participating residences.

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have carefully read, fully understand, and voluntarily agree to this Haunted Residence Participation Agreement & Liability Release.

Photo & Promotion Authorization: 

I grant Marsh's Free Museum permission to photograph, video, and publish images of my decorated residence and display for promotional purposes related to the Haunted Peninsula, including use on websites, social media, printed materials, and future event advertising, without compensation. I understand that I may withdraw from the event before promotional materials are published by notifying the organizers in writing.
